An innovative businesswoman with an ambitious culinary passion, Debbie Roxarzade has been a leader in the restaurant industry for more than two decades.

After a postponement last year due to the pandemic, Rachel’s Kitchen opened its eighth location, at Town Square on Tuesday.

Starting at midnight, all employees working inside in public spaces, will need to wear a mask. Clark County commissioners passed this mandate, in the hopes of bringing down our rising COVID-19 cases.

Offerings include breakfast all day, wraps, award-winning salads, sandwiches and burgers, and creamy pastas. The popular chain also features a children’s menu, healthful juices, and fruit smoothies.

The award committee, comprised of several business and community leaders named 25 outstanding businesses that included Rachel’s Kitchen. The Fresh Casual Eatery was named a Trendsetter, recognized for being a business paving the way for new technology, community stewardship ad corporate responsibility.

Getting the franchise paperwork together while operating a business was a two-year process. She hired an attorney to handle the legal aspects, but a lot of the legwork fell to her.
